Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 312AS UTAPS scheduling dashboard available at 312utap.com (the "Site") and the optional text message alert service offered through it (the "SMS Service"). By signing in to the Site or opting in to the SMS Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What the Site Is

The Site is a scheduling and reminder tool built to help members of the 312th Airlift Squadron keep track of their UTA and orders dates. It is operated by the 312AS UTAPS site administrator as a convenience to squadron members.

The Site is not an official United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve, or Department of Defense system. It is not connected to any government network or personnel system, and nothing on the Site replaces official orders, official notifications, or your chain of command. Always confirm your dates against your official orders (for example, your AF Form 40A) and with your supervisor.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

The Site is intended for current members and staff of the 312th Airlift Squadron. You sign in with your last name and a 6-digit PIN that you create. You are responsible for keeping your PIN private and for all activity that occurs under your sign-in. Do not share your PIN with anyone. If you believe someone else has used your account, contact us at stevenmiller2013@gmail.com so we can reset it.

3. SMS Service (Text Message Alerts)

The Site offers an optional text message alert service that sends automated reminders related to your scheduled orders and UTA dates. The SMS Service is separate from the rest of the Site: you can use the Site without receiving text messages.

  • Program name: 312AS UTAPS Text Alerts.
  • What you will receive: automated reminder messages about your orders start dates. A reminder is normally sent 5 days before an orders start date. You may occasionally receive a message about a change to a date you have on file or a service notice about the SMS Service itself.
  • Message frequency: varies based on how many orders and UTA dates you have on file. Most members receive a few messages per month.
  • How you opt in: by entering your mobile phone number on the Site, checking the consent box, and selecting "Yes, sign me up!". Consent is given only through that form. We do not add anyone to the SMS Service without their opt-in.
  • Cost: we do not charge for the SMS Service. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • How to stop: reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. After you send STOP you will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. You can also turn off text alerts from your profile on the Site or by contacting us.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email stevenmiller2013@gmail.com.
  • Carriers: supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using the Site or of any purchase. Text messages are sent using an automated system through a third-party messaging provider. If you change your mobile number, please update it on the Site or reply STOP from the old number so we do not text someone else.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Enter only your own phone number and only accurate information.
  • Keep your dates and contact information current.
  • Not attempt to access another member's account or data.
  • Not upload, enter, or transmit classified information or any other information you are not authorized to share. The Site is not approved for classified material.
  • Not misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to probe, scan, or test its security.

5. No Guarantee of Delivery

Reminders are provided as a convenience. Text message delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and third-party services outside our control. We do not guarantee that any reminder will be sent or received on time, or at all. You remain solely responsible for knowing and meeting your reporting dates. Missing a reminder is never an excuse for missing a duty requirement.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and SMS Service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Site or SMS Service at any time without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the Site will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Site or the SMS Service, including a missed, late, or inaccurate reminder.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use your information, including your phone number, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
